1. וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה לְנֹחַ בֹּא־אַתָּה וְכָל־בֵּיתְךָ אֶל־הַתֵּבָה כִּי־אֹתְךָ רָאִיתִי צַדִּיק לְפָנַי בַּדֹּור הַזֶּה׃

1. And the LORD H3068 said H559 unto Noah H5146 , Come H935 thou H859 and all H3605 thy house H1004 into H413 the ark H8392 ; for H3588 thee have I seen H7200 righteous H6662 before H6440 me in this H2088 generation H1755 .

2. מִכֹּל ׀ הַבְּהֵמָה הַטְּהֹורָה תִּקַּח־לְךָ שִׁבְעָה שִׁבְעָה אִישׁ וְאִשְׁתֹּו וּמִן־הַבְּהֵמָה אֲשֶׁר לֹא טְהֹרָה הִוא שְׁנַיִם אִישׁ וְאִשְׁתֹּו׃
|
2. Of every H4480 H3605 clean H2889 beast H929 thou shalt take H3947 to thee by sevens H7651 H7651 , the male H376 and his female H802 : and of H4480 beasts H929 that H834 are not H3808 clean H2889 by two H8147 , the male H376 and his female H802 .

3. גַּם מֵעֹוף הַשָּׁמַיִם שִׁבְעָה שִׁבְעָה זָכָר וּנְקֵבָה לְחַיֹּות זֶרַע עַל־פְּנֵי כָל־הָאָרֶץ׃
|
3. Of fowls H4480 H5775 also H1571 of the air H8064 by sevens H7651 H7651 , the male H2145 and the female H5347 ; to keep seed H2233 alive H2421 upon H5921 the face H6440 of all H3605 the earth H776 .

4. כִּי לְיָמִים עֹוד שִׁבְעָה אָנֹכִי מַמְטִיר עַל־הָאָרֶץ אַרְבָּעִים יֹום וְאַרְבָּעִים לָיְלָה וּמָחִיתִי אֶת־כָּל־הַיְקוּם אֲשֶׁר עָשִׂיתִי מֵעַל פְּנֵי הָאֲדָמָה׃

4. 5. וַיַּעַשׂ נֹחַ כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּהוּ יְהוָה׃

5. And Noah H5146 did H6213 according unto all H3605 that H834 the LORD H3068 commanded H6680 him.

6. וְנֹחַ בֶּן־שֵׁשׁ מֵאֹות שָׁנָה וְהַמַּבּוּל הָיָה מַיִם עַל־הָאָרֶץ׃

6. And Noah H5146 was six H8337 hundred H3967 years H8141 old H1121 when the flood H3999 of waters H4325 was H1961 upon H5921 the earth H776 .

7. וַיָּבֹא נֹחַ וּבָנָיו וְאִשְׁתֹּו וּנְשֵׁי־בָנָיו אִתֹּו אֶל־הַתֵּבָה מִפְּנֵי מֵי הַמַּבּוּל׃
|
7. And Noah H5146 went in H935 , and his sons H1121 , and his wife H802 , and his sons H1121 ' wives H802 with H854 him, into H413 the ark H8392 , because H4480 H6440 of the waters H4325 of the flood H3999 .

8. מִן־הַבְּהֵמָה הַטְּהֹורָה וּמִן־הַבְּהֵמָה אֲשֶׁר אֵינֶנָּה טְהֹרָה וּמִן־הָעֹוף וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר־רֹמֵשׂ עַל־הָאֲדָמָה׃

8. Of H4480 clean H2889 beasts H929 , and of H4480 beasts H929 that H834 are not H369 clean H2889 , and of H4480 fowls H5775 , and of every thing H3605 that H834 creepeth H7430 upon H5921 the earth H127 ,

9. שְׁנַיִם שְׁנַיִם בָּאוּ אֶל־נֹחַ אֶל־הַתֵּבָה זָכָר וּנְקֵבָה כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה אֱלֹהִים אֶת־נֹחַ׃
|
9. There went in H935 two H8147 and two H8147 unto H413 Noah H5146 into H413 the ark H8392 , the male H2145 and the female H5347 , as H834 God H430 had commanded H6680 H853 Noah H5146 .

10. וַיְהִי לְשִׁבְעַת הַיָּמִים וּמֵי הַמַּבּוּל הָיוּ עַל־הָאָרֶץ׃
|
10. And it came to pass H1961 after seven H7651 days H3117 , that the waters H4325 of the flood H3999 were H1961 upon H5921 the earth H776 .

11. בִּשְׁנַת שֵׁשׁ־מֵאֹות שָׁנָה לְחַיֵּי־נֹחַ בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי בְּשִׁבְעָה־עָשָׂר יֹום לַחֹדֶשׁ בַּיֹּום הַזֶּה נִבְקְעוּ כָּל־מַעְיְנֹת תְּהֹום רַבָּה וַאֲרֻבֹּת הַשָּׁמַיִם נִפְתָּחוּ׃

11. 12. וַיְהִי הַגֶּשֶׁם עַל־הָאָרֶץ אַרְבָּעִים יֹום וְאַרְבָּעִים לָיְלָה׃

13. בְּעֶצֶם הַיֹּום הַזֶּה בָּא נֹחַ וְשֵׁם־וְחָם וָיֶפֶת בְּנֵי־נֹחַ וְאֵשֶׁת נֹחַ וּשְׁלֹשֶׁת נְשֵׁי־בָנָיו אִתָּם אֶל־הַתֵּבָה׃

13. In the selfsame H6106 H2088 day H3117 entered H935 Noah H5146 , and Shem H8035 , and Ham H2526 , and Japheth H3315 , the sons H1121 of Noah H5146 , and Noah H5146 's wife H802 , and the three H7969 wives H802 of his sons H1121 with H854 them, into H413 the ark H8392 ;

14. הֵמָּה וְכָל־הַחַיָּה לְמִינָהּ וְכָל־הַבְּהֵמָה לְמִינָהּ וְכָל־הָרֶמֶשׂ הָרֹמֵשׂ עַל־הָאָרֶץ לְמִינֵהוּ וְכָל־הָעֹוף לְמִינֵהוּ כֹּל צִפֹּור כָּל־כָּנָף׃

14. They H1992 , and every H3605 beast H2416 after his kind H4327 , and all H3605 the cattle H929 after their kind H4327 , and every H3605 creeping thing H7431 that creepeth H7430 upon H5921 the earth H776 after his kind H4327 , and every H3605 fowl H5775 after his kind H4327 , every H3605 bird H6833 of every H3605 sort H3671 .

15. וַיָּבֹאוּ אֶל־נֹחַ אֶל־הַתֵּבָה שְׁנַיִם שְׁנַיִם מִכָּל־הַבָּשָׂר אֲשֶׁר־בֹּו רוּחַ חַיִּים׃
|
15. And they went in H935 unto H413 Noah H5146 into H413 the ark H8392 , two H8147 and two H8147 of all H4480 H3605 flesh H1320 , wherein H834 is the breath H7307 of life H2416 .

|
16. וְהַבָּאִים זָכָר וּנְקֵבָה מִכָּל־בָּשָׂר בָּאוּ כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה אֹתֹו אֱלֹהִים וַיִּסְגֹּר יְהוָה בַּעֲדֹו׃
|
16. And they that went in H935 , went in H935 male H2145 and female H5347 of all H4480 H3605 flesh H1320 , as H834 God H430 had commanded H6680 him : and the LORD H3068 shut him in H5462 H1157 .

17. וַיְהִי הַמַּבּוּל אַרְבָּעִים יֹום עַל־הָאָרֶץ וַיִּרְבּוּ הַמַּיִם וַיִּשְׂאוּ אֶת־הַתֵּבָה וַתָּרָם מֵעַל הָאָרֶץ׃

17. And the flood H3999 was H1961 forty H705 days H3117 upon H5921 the earth H776 ; and the waters H4325 increased H7235 , and bore up H5375 H853 the ark H8392 , and it was lifted up H7311 above H4480 H5921 the earth H776 .

18. וַיִּגְבְּרוּ הַמַּיִם וַיִּרְבּוּ מְאֹד עַל־הָאָרֶץ וַתֵּלֶךְ הַתֵּבָה עַל־פְּנֵי הַמָּיִם׃
|
18. And the waters H4325 prevailed H1396 , and were increased H7235 greatly H3966 upon H5921 the earth H776 ; and the ark H8392 went H1980 upon H5921 the face H6440 of the waters H4325 .

19. וְהַמַּיִם גָּבְרוּ מְאֹד מְאֹד עַל־הָאָרֶץ וַיְכֻסּוּ כָּל־הֶהָרִים הַגְּבֹהִים אֲשֶׁר־תַּחַת כָּל־הַשָּׁמָיִם׃

19. And the waters H4325 prevailed H1396 exceedingly H3966 H3966 upon H5921 the earth H776 ; and all H3605 the high H1364 hills H2022 , that H834 were under H8478 the whole H3605 heaven H8064 , were covered H3680 .

20. חֲמֵשׁ עֶשְׂרֵה אַמָּה מִלְמַעְלָה גָּבְרוּ הַמָּיִם וַיְכֻסּוּ הֶהָרִים׃
|
20. Fifteen H2568 H6240 cubits H520 upward H4480 H4605 did the waters H4325 prevail H1396 ; and the mountains H2022 were covered H3680 .

|
21. וַיִּגְוַע כָּל־בָּשָׂר ׀ הָרֹמֵשׂ עַל־הָאָרֶץ בָּעֹוף וּבַבְּהֵמָה וּבַחַיָּה וּבְכָל־הַשֶּׁרֶץ הַשֹּׁרֵץ עַל־הָאָרֶץ וְכֹל הָאָדָם׃

21. And all H3605 flesh H1320 died H1478 that moved H7430 upon H5921 the earth H776 , both of fowl H5775 , and of cattle H929 , and of beast H2416 , and of every H3605 creeping thing H8318 that creepeth H8317 upon H5921 the earth H776 , and every H3605 man H120 :

22. כֹּל אֲשֶׁר נִשְׁמַת־רוּחַ חַיִּים בְּאַפָּיו מִכֹּל אֲשֶׁר בֶּחָרָבָה מֵתוּ׃
|
22. All H3605 in whose nostrils H639 was the breath H5397 H7307 of life H2416 , of all H4480 H3605 that H834 was in the dry H2724 land , died H4191 .
|
|
23. וַיִּמַח אֶת־כָּל־הַיְקוּם ׀ אֲשֶׁר ׀ עַל־פְּנֵי הָאֲדָמָה מֵאָדָם עַד־בְּהֵמָה עַד־רֶמֶשׂ וְעַד־עֹוף הַשָּׁמַיִם וַיִּמָּחוּ מִן־הָאָרֶץ וַיִשָּׁאֶר אַךְ־נֹחַ וַאֲשֶׁר אִתֹּו בַּתֵּבָה׃

23. And H853 every H3605 living substance H3351 was destroyed H4229 which H834 was upon H5921 the face H6440 of the ground H127 , both man H4480 H120 , and H5704 cattle H929 , and H5704 the creeping things H7431 , and H5704 the fowl H5775 of the heaven H8064 ; and they were destroyed H4229 from H4480 the earth H776 : and Noah H5146 only H389 remained H7604 alive , and they that H834 were with H854 him in the ark H8392 .

24. וַיִּגְבְּרוּ הַמַּיִם עַל־הָאָרֶץ חֲמִשִּׁים וּמְאַת יֹום׃
|
24. And the waters H4325 prevailed H1396 upon H5921 the earth H776 a hundred H3967 and fifty H2572 days H3117 .
|
